Tunneler is designed for an IBM-PC compatible computer running DOS. It might run in the Command Prompt window on early versions of Windows if you go full-screen (press ALT-ENTER), but not on Windows 7 and later. Your best bet is to install the DOSBox emulator. Here’s Tunneler running under DOSBox:

yeah, I have many fond memories of playing this decades ago though oddly the keyboards of yore were better suited to two people bashing on many keys simultaneously than modern ones which seem to get confused with that much simultaneous inputs tbh
I just want to say I had lot of funn as small kid playing this with friends at school it was one of very first gmes I know and it was so simple and so funny and good!
